Chalet L'Orchidée

Tucked into the peaceful Raffort hamlet of Méribel, Chalet L'Orchidée is a newly built, standalone residence of refined alpine character, set just a five-minute walk from the Olympic gondola. Spanning approximately 300 square metres across four floors, the chalet accommodates up to twelve guests across five bedrooms, blending sleek contemporary design with the warmth of traditional alpine craftsmanship. Wood cladding, a large marble kitchen island and floor-to-ceiling windows unite to create an interior that feels simultaneously grand and genuinely welcoming, while the absence of any neighbouring property to the front ensures complete seclusion within the mountain landscape.

At the heart of the chalet, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area forms a luminous social space where natural light floods across the dining table, which seats eight, and frames sweeping views of the alpine surroundings. A generous balcony extends the full width of this floor, offering an outdoor dining table and, at its most indulgent corner, a private hot tub perfectly positioned for stargazing as snow falls and steam rises around you. After dinner, a wood-burning fireplace invites quiet conversation in the sitting area, whilst an adjoining television room provides a comfortable retreat for younger guests. On the ground floor, a dedicated ski room with boot warmers, a private laundry room and a games room complete with table football ensure every practical comfort is met with equal care.

The sleeping accommodation comprises five bedrooms distributed across the lower and upper floors: a children's bunk room sleeping four with its own en-suite bathroom, and four further twin and double rooms, three of which feature private balconies or mountain views, each with an en-suite shower room. When snow conditions permit, an off-piste connection from the blue Raffort slope allows guests to ski directly to the chalet, while Méribel village itself lies just a five-minute drive away. Chalet L'Orchidée is available on a self-catered basis, supported by a dedicated concierge, daily housekeeping and a full suite of personalised in-resort services.
