Villa Villekulla

Poised in one of Austria's most celebrated alpine resorts, Villa Villekulla is a contemporary ski-in chalet of exceptional refinement, extending across 340 square metres and accommodating twelve guests across six beautifully appointed bedrooms. Advanced skiers may ski directly to within 150 metres of the chalet, whilst the main piste into St Anton, lined with the resort's most cherished restaurants and bars, is only a few minutes away. This is a property that balances the thrill of world-class skiing with the deep comfort and quiet elegance one expects at altitude.

The uppermost floor is devoted entirely to social living, where an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room unfolds beneath floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light throughout the day. Rich textured fabrics and soothing neutral tones lend the interiors a quietly luxurious character, whilst a contemporary open wood-burning fireplace brings warmth and atmosphere as evening descends. A large dining table seats all twelve guests, and French windows give onto a south-facing balcony, whilst doors on the opposing side open to an extensive terrace that catches the morning sun, furnished with considered outdoor pieces that invite lingering over coffee and the anticipation of the slopes ahead.

The sleeping accommodation is arranged across two lower floors, with the principal sleeping level offering a master suite of generous proportions, complete with a spacious en-suite bathroom and a south-facing terrace upon which two private warm baths invite quiet restoration after a day on the mountain. Three further bedrooms on this level, two of which share a shower room and a separate WC, and one of which enjoys its own balcony with open views of the alpine peaks, complete the floor. On the ground level, a further double or twin bedroom and a bunk room for two each benefit from their own en-suite shower rooms, accompanied by a professional kitchen, a dedicated ski room with boot warmers, a sauna and a guest WC.
