Originally constructed in 1597 and thoughtfully restored with an unwavering attention to detail, Chalet 1597 occupies a singular place among the finest private residences in Lech. The owners have preserved a remarkable wealth of original architectural features, weaving them together with carefully chosen antique pieces, exquisite fabrics and bespoke furniture to produce an alpine home of genuine character and distinction. Spread across three beautifully considered floors and extending to some 450 square metres, the chalet accommodates ten adults and two children across five spacious en suite bedrooms. The principal suite commands its own generous drawing and study room alongside an en suite bathroom fitted with a free-standing roll-top bath, while a further three bedrooms occupy the upper floor, each with en suite facilities. On the ground floor, guests are welcomed via a traditional winter wet room furnished with boot heaters, before stepping into a living room graced by a Tyrolean stube, a heritage heating oven of rare charm. A separate well-equipped kitchen serves the dining room, where an open fireplace sets the tone for convivial dinners at a table seating up to fourteen. An intimate cinema room opens directly from the living room, and the sun-drenched terrace frames uninterrupted views across the mountain skyline of Lech throughout the day.

The chalet's lower floor reveals its most theatrical spaces, among them a traditional stone wine cave and tasting room where aperitifs may be savoured before dinner in an atmosphere of timeless alpine drama. The spa area, situated on the ground floor, features a bio sauna with a glass-enclosed relaxation area perfectly oriented towards the sunset, complemented by a private massage room and an outdoor hot stone bath for restorative moments after a day on the slopes. A garage with parking for one vehicle, subject to height restrictions, is joined by two further exterior parking spaces, ensuring every practical consideration is met with the same quiet elegance that defines Chalet 1597 in its entirety.
