For a livelier evening, the toboggan run from Oberlech down into the village stretches 1.2 kilometres and is illuminated after dark, making it an equally enchanting pursuit for children and adults. Culture, too, finds its place here: the Skyspace installation by internationally renowned artist James Turrell invites visitors to contemplate the mountain sky in a truly singular way.

For those who wish to see the slopes at their most pristine, the First Lifts experience offers an early-morning gondola ascent at seven o'clock to watch the sunrise from the summit, followed by breakfast at altitude. It is one of those rare moments that reframes the entire mountain. In a more indulgent spirit, the Champagne Gondola allows guests to savour fine appetisers and Moët & Chandon champagne whilst gliding above the snowfields, the peaks stretching away in every direction. Later in the season, the Wine Gondola event brings together celebrated Austrian winemakers for a tasting conducted entirely in the air, a convivial and thoroughly memorable occasion.
