Activities

Méribel rewards those who venture beyond the piste with a remarkable breadth of winter pursuits. The Mission Black Forest toboggan run stretches 3.4 kilometres of twists, turns and exhilarating straights, offering heart-racing fun for guests of every age. Regular evening sledging events bring a festive atmosphere to the slopes after dark, accompanied by music and warming cups of hot chocolate. For a more contemplative pace, snowshoeing allows guests to wander peacefully through snow-laden forests, with equipment hire and knowledgeable guides on hand, while cross-country skiing opens up a network of pristine trails through the valley's untouched countryside. Those drawn to the skies will find tandem paragliding an unforgettable way to absorb the full grandeur of the Three Valleys from above.

Méribel's calendar of distinctive experiences sets it apart from many of its alpine neighbours. Horse-drawn sleigh rides through the valley offer a wonderfully romantic and unhurried way to appreciate the winter landscape, while Ranch Nordiq welcomes both adults and children for horseback rides through the forested trails. The exhilarating discipline of ski joring, in which participants are pulled on skis by a horse, blends equestrian tradition with alpine thrill in a manner entirely unique to the mountains. Light aircraft flights provide spectacular aerial perspectives across the surrounding peaks and valleys, and the Olympic Park, situated at the heart of the resort, brings together ice skating, rock climbing, bowling and swimming beneath one roof, making it an ideal retreat for families on a rest day from the slopes.
