Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy

Events

Cortina hosted the Winter Olympics in 1956, the first to be broadcast on television, and again in 2026 together with Milan. The legacy is everywhere: the ice stadium in the centre, the Trampolino Italia ski jump above the town and the new sliding centre that bears the name of Eugenio Monti.

Every January the best downhill skiers in the world race on the Olympia delle Tofane in the women's World Cup. In December the Corso Italia fills with lights and a Christmas market, and the literary festival Una Montagna di Libri brings writers to the town in both winter and summer. In June the Lavaredo Ultra Trail starts and finishes in the centre.

Our team keeps track of the calendar and gladly arranges tickets, tables and transport for the events during your stay.
